หมั่นตรวจตัวเองว่าดีหรือยัง
เชื่อว่าทุกคนคิดเสมอว่าตนเองทำดี
หรือบางคนคิดว่าตนเองไม่มีดีจึงต้องทำไม่ดี
หรือมัวโทษตัวเองว่าไม่ดีที่ไม่มีประโยชน์ มีแต่โทษมากยิ่ง ๆ ขึ้น
การจะรู้ว่าดี ไม่ดี ต้องตรวจตัวเองทั้งผลและการกระทำ การปฏิบัติ
ผลนั้นตรวจง่าย แต่ต้องดีจริงทั้งต่อตนเอง ต่อใคร ๆ ไม่เป็นที่รังเกียจ ไม่เอาเปรียบใคร จึงได้ดีจริง
การตรวจการทำ ไม่ใช่แค่สิ่งที่คิดที่ทำ ต้องตรวจกับหน้าที่
ทุกคนมีหน้าที่หลากหลาย หลายระดับ หลายมิติ
มิติแรกคือในครอบครัว เป็นลูก เป็นพ่อแม่ พี่น้อง ให้ดูว่าได้ทำหน้าที่ให้ดีตามสถานะหรือยัง
มิติต่อไปต่อไปคือหน้าที่ในอาชีพ ตั้งแต่เป็นนักเรียน นักศึกษา คนทำงาน ว่าได้ทำได้ดีในฐานะนั้น ๆ ต่อตนเอง ต่อสถาบัน หน่วยงาน องค์กรนั้น ๆ หรือยัง
อีกมิติคือสังคม ประเทศชาติ ว่ามีหน้าที่ในชุมชน สังคม เพื่อนบ้าน หน้าที่พลเมืองที่ดี เพื่อการอยู่ดีร่วมกัน ให้เป็นสังคมอยู่ดีมีสุข ไม่มีปัญหา ไม่สร้างปัญหา ไม่คิดว่าทำอะไรก็ได้
ต้องคิดเสมอว่าที่ทำ ที่ปฏิบัตินั้นดีที่เป็นสังคมที่ดี เป็นแบบอย่างที่ดีแก่ลูกหลาน เป็นสิ่งทำให้ประเทศเจริญด้วยคนที่มีความเจริญที้ดีในทุกคน
การตรวจตัวเอง เพื่อการทำหน้าที่ตัวเองให้ดีตามสถานะและหน้าที่จริง ว่าได้ทำดีจริง อะไรไม่ดีจะได้ปรับ ระมัดระวังในการทำและไม่ทำ จึงเป็นดีที่แท้จริง
